National Museum - New Delhi, India

The National Museum in New Delhi holds an incredible collection of historical objects that piece together the complex and multi-layered history of India. However, the galleries lack a coherent and clear narrative approach. And their overall display techniques and design, including the colored-painted walls, don't bring forth the power of the collection. Although it is nice to walk around a museum with open windows everywhere, the objects are not protected from humidity, pollution and dust. It is imperative that this fantastic collection of Indian heritage is preserved, interpreted and displayed in a contemporary way using the latest exhibition techniques, storytelling and design.
